practice went quite well today.. hahaha.. what went wrong.. ermz.. nothing went wrong..was super early coz tim was around the area and gave me a lift.. nyahh... good thing too coz my card was running out of money and i forgot to ask for money to top up..

so niwaez. the first song that we did was GuDanBeiBanQiu. super.. whatever song. niwaez leen was doing it. solo. like super-solo. so. after awhile, i promptly fell asleep on two chairs.

oh yeahh forgot to say first.. hAhhaaa... ivan came.. i think gerald asked him to.. and then he brought mel png + joel pang.. nyahh. damn funny.. then i saw mel and kinda like.. stunned for a moment coz i wasn't expecting to see her anytime soon lahz.. and then i was like, running to hug her and she was screaming at ivan that see, i did love her and want her to be here. hahahaha~~~ funniness. ^_^

what else did we do. oh yeah. did Hero. mel [goh] did it. and she didn't wanna do it. she wanted to pass it over, to me or leen, it didn't matter, as long as she wasn't the one doing it. *laughs* why? because she was afraid that she would screw it up.

which is super ironic because the song itself is saying stuff like, cast your fears aside / and you know you will survive, and mel's down here complaining that she's afraid she'll screw up the song. funniness.

firstly. in the morning. had to go down three floors to be scolded by some teacher for being too lazy and irresponsible for not signing up for flag day that is compulsory for all to do. please lor. me and wenxin signed up for two dates at first. both were rejected. say too many people. ok, FYNE. and then a third time, when they were passing paper around. we signed up for another one. ALSO too many people. also rejected.

signed up for some chem lecture at singapore poly that was today... the consent form said 1.30. then seemingly the assembly time was 1.15. and then by the time our class people who wanted to go got to the foyer, the bus had left.

but seemingly our teachers were told that the time was changed to 1.15. we asked msgoh she told us 1.30 can. our PA is like spoilt, and whichever teacher it was that was told to go around and tell the various classes involved didn't come to our class lahz.

then we wanted to rush down, but then the people at the GO said CANNOT. so trooped back into school and then argued awhile and waited a long while and then FINALLY got permission to go lahz. waited outside in the rain and got two cabs. then rushed down.

chinese tuition teacher said today that when you grow older, you'll find that you won't be able to laugh so easily. that sometimes, you just can't laugh. it'd be a forced laugh. especially at stupid jokes that have the whole cinema rocking.

her theory is that, when older people get annoyed at you laughing and talking with your friends in the mrt, that it's partly coz of the volume, partly because of the noise, but mostly because of the jealousy. that you can be so happy and carefree.

i think she's rite.

ah well. went science centre today. hahaha. fetched wen from the bukit batok mrt and then took a bus down.. hahahah.. sorry wen, i'm a bit antisocial in the morning.. and then walkwalkwalk and found that we were almost late. heh. had to sit in front. was ok lahz, the first lecture. physics, more. hahahaha.. about electricity. the second lecture was about.. earthquakes.. yeahh.. mostly that's what i remember lahz. the girl looked young. hahaha.mebbe waiting for results or something. wait. are results out already. i dunno. whatever.

while waiting, candice + huiting + gina + wenxin + me were taking pictures lahz.. then things like i was supposed to take with wenxin only, and then used her camera to aim up a bit so that will pai candice also. but then when we looked at the picture then realised that candice had popped her head in the picture and right next to mine. hahahahahaa~~ damn funny. and then when she + huiting + gina take picture that time candice stuck out her tongue. so it looked damn.. whatever.. and then when huiting saw it she was like screaming her head off..~~~ *laughs*

realised i didn't really get to talk to xiang + oliveshit today.. ah well. ^_^ there's tomorrow. i hope.^_^

ah well. ok. so niwaez. the three are me + sab + tabby. nyahhh. and we were left out of the cluedo game planning. so sad rite. so during batch time they chased us away so they could plan. so first thing we went to the toilet. coz needed to pee lahz! heesh. and on the way something caught our eye.

it's some.. ermz... square glass jar, sort of, and it contained water and many blue pebble-marbles. don't know what you call them. they're really pretty!!! yupz. and then was looking at the water.. and then looking at the pebbles.. and going "so pretty so pretty..."

then went into the toilet.

then was talking about it lahz. like talking about couping some.

then tabby washed her hands after she finished and went out of the toilet. i was still inside. and then suddenly i heard sab kinda yell. and then she started laughing and laughging.

tab actually brought the container into the toilet lahz!!! hahahhaaha..

so laughing laughing.. poured out some water and poured in some clean one.. poured out some dirty water and poured in some clean one.. and were saying, ok, we're helping them.. so we'll just take some as.. ah... tokens of appreciation. mutual exchange. lalaa. yes yes we know you want to thank us. laa. after all, we did change the water for you!

then after that.. hahahahaha.. had to check and see whether any of the hotel staff were around.. hahahah.. and there was one of them right across the ladies in the gents lahz!!! hahahahah.. and then like... chonged out of the toilet and to the phone area where the container was supposed to be standing.. hahahhahaha.. then just walked a way away and sat down leaning against the wall. *laughs

and then! the weirdest and funniest part was when this guy walked to the phones. and then from our angle can't see exactly what he's doing coz it's blocked by some wood lahz. and then sab got so worried. because she thought he was COUNTING the pebbles.

i was laughing my head off lahz. totally. are you? there are so many in the container!!! why would he think to count them!!!!!! hahahahahaha.. wahhh. i love sab manz.. she's super hilarious.. *laughs*

ah well. like i said. camp wasn't too bad. ^_^ add all sorts of these funny things inside. *laughs* and there you have an enjoyable and memorable camp. *laughs*

wednesday went to harbour front and set off from there on a ferry with the whole company to batam.. hahahaha.. good thing i bought some mandarin peel when we went shopping at IMM.. i knew it would be needed on the ride there. hahahaa.

and i was right.

grace zhang needed it. as in she was feeling giddy. so gave her this big piece of mandarin peel. and she felt better!!!!!! hahahahaaa..

niwaez the camp was really cool... every night except the last night had to wait for elisa and sab to finish their debrief.. the first night i just wrote letter and sat outside the ballroom waiting. waiting. waiting. and watched yikai and a sec one and anne margaret fall asleep on the chair. well. matthews was actually sleeping on the floor lahz. hahhaaha. i was wondering who was it. ah well.

so first nite. still can. went back with sab, who left first, coz she wasn't in the committee, just a group leader. and then went back. was so tired that i fell asleep almost immediately. hahahaha. i think she actually managed to WATCH me fall asleep. hahaha. in a matter of seconds. mebbe less than five. you have to ask her. hahahahaa.. but it was damn funny.

woke up when elisa put my hands under the quilt. hahahahaha. coz seemingly i had put both arms ON the quilt. hahahaha. so she was tucking me in. :B so sweet rite. hahahahahaha.. my twin's damn cute.

what else. then the second nite. hahaha. was funnier. coz i had no more letter to reply to elisa, so just went to sleep. hahahaha.. curled up on the chair and kinda thing lahz. so. then sab didn't know it was me lahz. she thought it was a guy. coz of the hair. then she was walking down the stairs thinking: rachel went back already huh. and who's that arh? a guy doesn't sleep all curled up what..... OH ITS RACHEL.

the last night... they brought everything forward by one hour. yupz. and then played cluedo.

yupz. she died. hahahahaa.. and then we had to go find out which one of the suspects did it, and what they used, and what was the story lahz. basically. y'all never play cluedo before mehz. bleh.

yupz. and then. the freakiest room was dots and debbie's room lahz. why?

1) coz there were strange men staying at the room beside theirs and they were standing in the corridor smoking and ogling us.
2) coz the lights at their door there were off and the green exit light was shining rather... eerily.
3) coz debbie was acting as a schitzophrenic. and she'd be saying do my work do my work and she wrote this whole list of things to do saying 1do my work 2do my work 3do my work and then she'd drink the hotel soap and shampoo and then laugh suddenly.
4) coz that was the murder scene
5) coz dots ressurected and her ghost was floating around.

yes. those are the reasons. hahahah. everyone's like damn scared of dots lahz... coz she was dressed in the towel, like her whole body was really covered, and her whole face was powdered white. hahahahhaha.. and then she'd like float around the room silently... and do weird stuff... one group said she moved the tv... another group said she stood on the foot switch for the lamp and then keep switching it on and off, on and off.. hahahahahahhahaaa.. retarded woman. that was really damn funny lahz.

and then in the room, grace zhang wanted to snatch some evidence lahz. like coz there's evidence lying all about the table, letters and documents that we're supposed to read and find what's happening in the company lahz. that might help us piece together who killed dot and why.

and then the piece of paper that grace wanted to grab was the solution lahz. like it had all their plans and everything. hahahahaaa... as in plan for the game lahz.. *laughs* and then she was SNATCHING with debbie lahz!!!!! damn funny... only found out that it was the solutions later when elisa told me.. hahahahahhaaha~~~ that was seriously damn hilarious lahz come to think of it.

but that night, it was dark, there were strange men around laughing and speaking their own language that we all totally could not understand while they were staring at us all, and there was green lights, dim lights, or no lights at all, and there were ghosts and schitzophrenics and knives and birthday cakes and murderers around.

yes. so altogether it was really freaky.

niwaez... came back then rushed to church.. from there went to pasir ris downtown east, and queued for longlonglong time for the planetshakers concert. hate those people who cut queues. and something that irked me too was that amanda was one of those people. because i don't want other people looking at us and saying that we're irritating. nothing against amanda personally. i love her loads, and she's my mese, so how could i?

niwaez the concert was fantastic lahz. i jumped till my legs cramped up and couldn't walk properly for the rest of the night. and then the next day my legs were really painful when i walked, so couldn't walk properly. today they feel worse. so after watching the Crucible, then went to taka with olives + xiang + char to eat lunch, and then char was really nice and paid for a cab ride there, coz i couldn't walk. or rather, was having alot of difficulty doing so.

ate at mos.. hahahahah.. then went up to kino, which was the main reason why we went to taka in the first place.. coz i wanted to go look for Howl's. shana told me that she bought it there. she also told me that the book was alot nicer than the movie, coz in the movie they cut alot of it out, and there was no main story. but then again, that's how hayao miyazuki's films are, nice and beautiful and strange and magical but without alot of storyline, except for a really general feel. hahahahah. and all faults in the movies are made up in Howl's absolute bishiness. hahahaahahaha.. for me, at least. was looking for the book lahz, but then couldn't find it, only when i went to the cashier there, then was about to go out, then found it. hhahaha. char waved it in my face. coz i think i was obsessing about the show to her lahz. hahahahahhaahha.. wenxin's gonna wait till it comes out on vcd and then buy it for me. heeee.

hahahah.. was reading ian's blog.. he was saying something about being able to stay awake in school for the whole of some day.. *laughs* and i was happily sleeping during chem today. would've slept during math if it was angme lahz, i'll confess. but it's not. now we have the bitch. the one who's showing her true bitchiness.

so niwaez. during chem. was supposed to be the third part of a formative assessment. planning the investigation. that was the first part. then the second part was to CARRY OUT the plan to do the investigation. hahahaha.. and this was the third part of the assessment, to write a report. hahaha. which i have absolutely no idea how to do.

here's what i did.

i rewrote the plan. step by step. but didn't re-write the tabulation of results. so mafan.

so. tore out two sheets of fulscap paper, one for the rewriting of instructions, one for the report that we were supposed to be writing in that lesson. so. write write write. tried to be as specific as possible. yupz. and add as many steps as possible. hahahaaa. if i were really desperate, i would've written stuff like--

step 1: hold the test tube with your right hand.

step 2: realise that it's not that easy to carry out the experiment with the left hand.

step 3: change the testtube over to the left hand.

step 4: make sure you're holding the test tube securely.

step 5: double-check your grip on the b***** testtube.

step 6: now, with your free right hand, reach one cm for the unknown that looks like iron (111) chloride.

step 7: oh yes i forgot to tell you, you're supposed to identify iron (111) chloride by the colour. as in, using your EYES. does that need to be a separate step?fyne.

step 8: remember to use your eyes to see the colour of the iron (111) chloride.

and stuff like that lahz, basically.

i'm really tired. can i not go for the drill test tomorrow. on the basis that i'm tired. and about to pass into the halls of Mandos.

the colour of absence

just finished reading that book. second out of the four books that i borrowed last friday.. hahaha. not bad lahz huh. i hope. XP. it's really a sad book. there's one or two stories that look absolutely boring so i just skipped them over. the second last one was about some white guy and black girl and the black girl is pregnant and something but i don't really understand what happened in the end, i think she went to stay with her aunt until the baby was born and she decided what she wanted to do with it.

before that some time ago was some story about a boy called Billy. something about the bicycle. you wonder how people can be so cruel. and stuff liddat.

keeping the innocence alive...

my favourite story was the last story. about a girl Mariah and her father. the father just passed away. and then something about the flute.. she knew her father would want her to continue playing the flute but she'd given it up years ago when she didn't manage to get in for an audition. and then something about playing the flute being the only thing that truly belonged to her. coz whenever she picked up something new, the father would just come and show her how to do stuff with it, and then she'd feel that she no longer owned the work. so. everything except the flute. aiyah. long lahz. why don't y'all go borrow and read it yourselves.

actually i just came back from running to the christofori music school near my house. not very near actually. i had to go running around to find it. coz wanted to help tim buy guitar strings. hahahah. he's been saying G-string so many times. hahahahah.. when i called him i heard helicopters in the background. hahahaha. wonder what the rest must have thought when they heard him saying into the phone, "no, i want a G-string" *laughs* ok fyne, not funny. *pouts*

on the way to borders, while going up the escalator, there was this middle aged guy who was pushing against my bag lahz.. and then i thought izzit he's just some kiasu uncle trying to get onto the escalator first.. and then when i next turned to stare at him he was two steps down from where i was. so i thought nothing was wrong. and then i was holding my wallet, so i thought, haiz, still can.

but when i was in borders, wanted to take out the fone and use the calculator to see how much extra i'd have to pay exactly, and then searched and searched and realised it was gone.

like i'm being such a mugger now, so much more than before, go home, do work,... and somehow i can't get more than one piece finished a day. i wonder where people like xiang + wenxin + cheryl neoh + all the other hardworking people get their time to do everything. mebbe coz they give up on playtime. taht's something i can never bring myself to do.

seriously. coz it ran out of batt. so i changed phone. and was trying to push the antenna back in by pressing it against the table. and then it broke lahz!!! and it was like hanging by a tip, not yet fully broken.. and i was trying to get it back again and the whole thing just broke off!!!!!

yesterday was damn funny lahz... went to far east plaza after school with wen + char + xiang.. then at first was just supposed to be watching them eat but when we sat down i just decided to order a plate for myself, for once, instead of just sitting and watching them and helping them clear their veggies. -.- hahahaha.. yupz... then after that char + wen had to rush off back to school for their various stuffs... *laughs*... so i accompanied xiang to go get her photos, the ones that she needed for the chinese sketchbook project thing.. hahahaha.. yupz.... and then we were waiting for the machine to load the pictures so that we could choose which ones we wanted to print.

for those of you who don't get it, forever and a half = 4ever + 1/2. "ever" is the unknown", therefore it cannot be added to the 1/2.
